Xbox 360 Help Info

If your an avid gamer and love your Xbox 360 as much as I do, then you’re probably very aware of just how vulnerable they are, the only problem is, what do you do when something goes wrong?

Microsoft has an excellent warranty service plan on all Xbox 360’s and if something breaks, bust or gets damaged within 3 years from the day you buy it, your covered. Microsoft will take care of the problem, whatever it might be, freezing, disc tray jamming up, video problems and especially the 3 red light error.

In fact, the 3 red light happened so much, that before they extended their 1 year warranty to a 3 year warranty, they agreed that they would fix any Xbox 360 with this particular problem, warranty of not, now if you ask me, that’s a great warranty service plan.

Other common Xbox 360 errors are problems with your video game not playing after you place it into your DVD disc tray and hit play, all of a sudden you get an error message on your T.V screen giving you the “Unplayable Disc Error”. What can you do to fix this problem, well to be honest; it’s caused from excessive game play, leaving the motor located on the inside of your DVD drive dry on lubricant.

So, it won’t spin correctly, much like a car stops running with it runs of oil.

It’s recommended that if the problem happens with your console, you either call Microsoft’s support line immediately (1-800-4MYXBOX) or have a professional repair the problem for you. However, it’s not a difficult one to fix, if you’ve got a flat head screwdriver and an Allen-wrench set laying around the house somewhere, you can repair it yourself!

All you really need to is pull the motor out of the dvd player, rub off any of the excessive grits & grease and re-lube it up with some either WD-40 or any other kind of lubricant like it. If your not sure how to do this, you can find a few videos online browsing Google or better yet, there’s a whole bunch of videos on YouTube to fix this particular problem alone.

In fact, whatever the problem might be, you can find a solution to fix it on YouTube, but whether or not it’s good advice to follow is up to you.
